ABOUT ME

David-profile 2_edited_edited.jpg

I am a photographer, based just north of Atlanta, Georgia. My photographic journey started at age 13 with a secondhand twin lens camera and a hand-held light meter. After attending the Maryland Institute College of Art, I worked in a commercial photography studio that had accounts such as Black & Decker.

My first published photograph was a full-page reproduction of a robotic hand plugging a device into a computer patch panel, taken with a fisheye lens in my studio. It was published in “Science, Technology, And Government For A Changing World”, April 1993, The Concluding Report of the Carnegie Commission, compiled by Jimmy Carter, former president of the USA.

For me photography is more than a passion; it’s a part of who I am.
